    Cotto vs Alvarez would be it's own ppv if it happens and the only way it is on May 3rd is if Floyd gives the date away. which he might do if GBP thinks they can make a good ppv without Floyd on that date and if Floyd is ok with it.

    Mayweather is fighting on May 3rd, so that's a no go. Cotto is basically a Top Rank fighter, so you can forget about him fighting Canelo. Look for Cotto vs. Martinez on the eve of the Puerto Rican day parade.

    Arum has already stated that Martinez is the preferred next opponent for Cotto as he's looking to make history by being the first Puerto Rican to win titles in 4 divisions. It doesn't hurt that Cotto brings a lot of money to the table and Sergio must be thinking about retiring at some point.

    Yes, it so appears Cotto will fight Sergio Martinez. I think he will get knocked out. The fight will be at 160.............
