I predict a lot of shaking their heads at each other whenever punches land clean either way and unfortunately a Canelo body shot to end it late! Or alternatively the heart says GGG via k. O in the 10th!

I hope GGG gets justice in this third fight after not getting the nod in the two previous fights with Canelo. As usual Adelade Byrds scoring was terrible in the first fight.

My prediction is, with zero doubt, that regardless of the outcome people will whining about the scorecards.

    50% Nelo on the cards
    30% Nelo TKO
    10% draw
    10% GGG KO

Not too many people thinking draw but I would give it a higher percentage.

I expect a competitive fight where Canelo wins by decision with one card being accurate and the other 2 being over generous to Canelo by 2/3 extra rounds

Canelo should win, i was listening to a podcast the other day and the host had it right when he said that he always fight that this match was always stacked somewhat in Canelos favour throughout the trilogy........ age, drug tests failures, scorecards, delays, profile....

Not that Canelo isnt a great fighter but I will be rooting for GGG again because he generally hasnt had the anove factors in his favour so much in his career

Whatever happens we should all be grateful we have witnessed this trilogy, as the first two fights were top level competitive......and confirmed that these are both elite level fighters.....as neither was "exposed" in either fight

There hasnt been too many high profile fights i can think of over the last decade where both winner and loser of the fight have confirmed that yes they are elite level

People are forgetting a few things. Golovkin is moving up in weight so he’s not going to be as weak. Canelo is moving down in weight off a very embarrassing loss and I’m almost 100% positive his confidence is shattered. That said, there’s no way Golovkin goes in this fight being passive. He knows he has to get the knock out, at a minimum, put him on the canvas a couple times, so I’m sticking to my upset and I’m taking GGG to get the late stoppage.

I just saw the weigh in and I want to change my answer. Golovkin's physique looks very strategic. I think he might come out of this with a W. His physique to me suggests he is going out on his shield this time. Looks like he trained for Canelo's bodyshots.

    This could be an upset.

Canelo wins convincingly, UD or late stoppage.
