lara made canelo come to him or canelo had lara running like a little b&%$* trying to avoid those body shots, eye of the beholder....
The few bodyshots he landed that certainly didn't slow s h I t down. That was a Whitaker paint job if I ever seen one.
If you thought Canelo beat Lara you musta thought Trinidad whooped dlh aswell. The only diff in the two fights was that dlh gassed and gave away the last 4 rounds. Lara won the champ rounds.
If Canelo landed so many bodyshots then how come Lara never remotely slowed down? Canelo's either more feather fisted than people think, Lara has an iron body or Canelo wasn't landing many of them "bodyshots", I know which one I think the latter.
That fight was a set-up WWE match. GB paid Lara more money to lose it than he would have if he won it. Go inspect the fight closely. Lara deliberately missed punches all night. He did not make any attempt to win.
Once again . Canelos bodywork was not landing clean . Lara was making Canelo run into traps cracking him with 1'2s making him swing back ineffectively with desperation and frustration . I don't believe the fight could went either way . There is no way anyone can watch that fight and give Canelo 7 rnds . He was just way too ineffective/inaccurate to give him that many rnds . I gave him only 4 rnds and couldn't award him with any more after that . 2 out of 3 judges got it wrong thanks to Oscar .
Lara won the first 4 rounds clearly, then Canelo looked desperate and uncomfortable going after Lara, but he still landed bodyshots and the best, cleanest punches of the fight were from Canelo. Lara was literally RUNNING from Canelo ffs, he wasn't staying in front of him slapping him around like Mayweather was. Lara has absolutely NO inside game, none. Canelo won most of the rounds and the championship rounds were too close. 7-5 for Canelo or a draw, but Lara didn't school jack**** that night, he was getting smalked around himself.
