Canelo with or without Clen would beat the Floyd that fought Berto within an inch of his life at this point.
Canelo would destroy Floyd with ease at 160. No draining, in his prime against a 43 year old far past prime fighter who would be giving up anything between 20-40 lbs weight. Not really his normal style. But if he came forward like he did in GGG2 he'd walk through Floyd and KO him fairly early. Floyd looked near done v Pacman, Berto and McGregor. Maybes he didn't train properly for. The last one but he still looked old and shot. I don't wanna see it. If Floyd comes back for a proper fight then he should fight any of Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Porter or Garcia. I'm not interested in anything else. Canelo has GGG, Charlo, Saunders, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko and prob a few other quality fights at 160 nevermind anything at 167. Boxing doesn't need this sideshow.
Why is this even a topic for discussion? No one in their right mind believes that a retired 43 year old Floyd would even be competitive.... Jesus Christ..........At this stage, Floyd probably couldn't beat any one in the top 5 of the WW, JMW, and especially the MW division. He's retired............
Floyd gets stopped within 9 rounds. This isn’t a green 22 year old Canelo we’re talking about here. Clenelo has fully developed. And then some.
Canelo's jab and more mature ring IQ would cause issues for this version of Floyd. He'd win a decision, and it probably wouldn't be close.
Honestly, Floyd taxed that ass with such ease, grace and dominance....that im not sure i wouldn't pick a 45yr old Floyd to make him look silly again. That was one of the most one sided fights of Floyd's entire career. He owns that Mexican ass. that's what happens when you fight a god fearing American MAGA Legend like Floyd Money Mayweather. (and im not kidding or blustering to get a rise out of posters. That was an utter schooling of the 1st degree)
People realize this wouldn't be good to watch, yeah? The only possible sensible game plan for PBF would be to pull a Lara (but with even more evasion and even less countering). This would be horrible.
