Canelo vs Plant - Video Preview & Prediction

Without watching this video, let me guess what points were made:

• Plant has faced mediocre competition and struggled a bit (especially against Uzgategui) and Lee, Feigenbutz, and Truax couldn't possibly prepare him

• Clenelo's experience, experience on the big stage, and ring IQ makes it a no brainer to pick Clenelo

• Plant is motivated and will give Clenelo some problems until Clenelo adjusts and class/experience takes over

• Plant will give a spirited effort resulting in an entertaining fight (but only due to the shock of him not getting his back blown out like Jada Pinkett Smith and her young side dudes)

• Clenelo wins by TKO or 10-2/9-3 decision

 

Lol you are killing me with that one. We have to admit he is a bloody good fighter.

 

For plant to win this he needs to not only stop the ginger nugget but also K.O all the judges but for me the most likely outcome is mathew Hatton on points

 

The difference between Matthew Hatton and any Hatton for that matter and Caleb Sweet Hands Plant is like midnight and daylight.

 

What about Plant to win on points or shock you all with a KO win. I won’t be shocked if he drops Canelo primarily because Canelo does not think he can.

I think my contrasts drawn between the Hattons and Caleb Plant is quite humorous. Mind you they say it’s how you say it.

 

Plant has not faced anyone on Canelo's level, or really a level or two below. Feigenbutz, ancient Truax and Mike Lee are his last 3 fights. Maybe Plant will "shock the world" but its a pretty big ask of him.
