That's the thing. What's he's doing is nothing short of absolutely amazing yet I'm all a bit meh about it. The Golovkin farce (I thought he won both) definitely plays a role.

Maybe it's because all the yanks and Mexicans are fawning over him a tad too much that annoys me.

Some win for Canelo, he seems unstoppable right now. Be unreal if he goes up again and starts winning titles.

 

Tend to agree. Canelo is being built up as some kind of untouchable Mike Tyson figure in US boxing yet he's already been soundly beaten in his career and arguably twice more since.

Got to admire the activity and the fact he can draw huge crowds and numbers, no matter the opponent.

If you think that the only time he has used drugs was the time he was outed for using clenbuterol, then I've got some insurance I'd like to sell you. He's an athlete of the very highest level who literally has HGH injection sites on his abdominals.

 

If you think that's bad, @Olu G. Rotimi had Plant 8-2 up after the 10 completed rounds, and scored the 10th as a close round to Canelo.

Haye, Frampton and Calzaghe was doing a good job and Paul Dempsey as a host is a class act. It reminds me of Sky Sports Boxing back in the days...

 

yes he may stack thinhs in his favour at times but look at guys resume he's elite and ridiculous. In 20 30 years time look back at how good he was. Will get slaughtered but Genuine think he is up ther with haglers sugar rays durans or at least not far off

 

I had Canelo 6-4 up but a lot of people seemed to have Canelo pretty much winning every round. Opinions eh.

 

He's a machine. Superb fighter.

I did think GGG edged the first fight however for me, the right man definitely had his hand raised in the rematch. If they fight again, I don't see anything other than a Canelo win with GGG continuing to be on the slide now whilst Canelo is going from strength to strength and is in his pomp.

Really do not see anyone at Middle or Super Middle coming remotely close to beating him. Even at Light Heavy... I think he beats them all too. Would like to see the Beterbiev fight.

 

Give me Bellew and Maya Jama any day of the week.

 

I do not agree. I would like DAZN to find some commentators / experts who are really passionate about boxing. Do not think that there is chemistry between those who are employed today. It is as if they are only thinking about the paycheck that comes with it.
