I'm proud to be of the old school & think boxing should be conducted as a fair honest combat sport with everything legal & not marred with corruption. That does not happen at the top level any more I'm afraid.
The old saying "Money is the Root of All Evil" is one of the main reasons $$$$$$$$$$ & influence have as much control over the results as the judges who are supposed to render their scorecards to decide the winners of the contests. Today they don't even try to control the corruption they don't even have to try & hide it. It seems the State Commissions just look the other way because they never investigate anything
I spend more time watching a real sport the PBR Professional Bull Riders on CBS sports than watching boxing
especially PPV farces. Young men, Cowboys , attempt to ride large 1500 -2000 lb bulls for 8 secs there are no
corrupt bulls or judges lol They can win big $$$$$$$$$$$$$ if they do.

He is ducking / fighting those lesser tier fighters for on another platform because PBC couldn’t honor their original contract
With Spence & both Charlo’s on the OG contract.

Then when Spence lost & Mell Charlo put up such a $h!t fight
PBC wanted to pivot to Crawford & Benevidez without upping the ante & Canelo said nope
I have a signed contract that says I fight drunk charlo for $35Milly guaranteed or you can pay me xxxx (undisclosed) more to fight Bud Crawford & Benevidez.

PBC can’t pay him upfront they are broke
So now Canelo is seen flirting with Fast car Eddie again.

Bottom line he is ducking & is likely taking less to fight bumlanga & Mungo
But the risk reward still = multi million GUARANTEED vs BS back end PPV money from broke untrustworthy PBC.

Canelo should just do a Spanish line up consisting of Berlanga, Munguia, then Benavidez.

Sharp observers knew all along Canelo would never fight him. I know it as soon as I saw 5 minutes of Benavidez highlights, years ago. The one positive now is its all in the open, even the fan boys (most) are coming to terms with it.

That's the easiest explanation but not necessarily the real explanation.

 

Its actually the most logical explanation considering every shred of evidence points to it, from what Canelo has said and done. Everything. Go and try and find one interview from Canelo where he said he WANTS to fight David. Does not exist. He won't even say it.

 

Benavidez should clean out 168 and earn his shot at Canelo.

Tired of all these supposed top fighters avoiding each other in the name of a Canelo payday.

Benavidez resume sucks ass, stinkyn dingleberry ass.

His best three wins are a Canelo leftover that Canelo KO but je couldn't. A fighter that was unproven at 160, and 168 in Andrade, and a fighter that went life and death against Yildirim, a fighter Canelo was trashed for fighting.

 

Canelo needs to fight his LEGITIMATE contenders & not cherry pick sick semi retired has beens. Man up fight Benavidez or just retire youre stinking up the place We all know why you wont YOURE SCARED OF BENEVIDEZ, BIVOL & BETERBIEV,
