When I saw Canelo's photos leading up to the fight and saw how buff he had gotten I felt like it was a mistake getting that muscular. The bigger muscles you have the more oxygen you require. As he acclimates to his new weight his heart and blood will work more efficiently. His body will produce more red blood cells that are required to take oxygen to his muscles.
In his last three fights he's gradually improved in quality opponent. Brook- B level opponent Jacobs-A level opponent Canelo-Elite opponent
Trout Lara Cotto GG where all real tough fights you don't have to take a beating especially the Mayweather fight that fight Canelo was mentally beaten because he was a young undefeated fighter losing the fight of his life, you have to be a dumbass to think that didn't affect him
I feel Canelo going for a TKO on GGG This has the potential to be a real fun rematch Will GGG actually risk it all and go to the body this time? I hope so but I just think Canelo has all the edge and advantages for this second meeting
I respect Canelo's boxing, but I think our friend is generally correct here (I would only slightly nuance his foe by foe breakdown here and there). If we include Golovkin, Canelo's fought 5 or 6 guys who were live bodies, i.e. guys who had some kind of a plausible chance to win. That body of opposition is actually a relatively quite creditable one, especially given that truly excellent résumés are rare today, but, for a fighter of Canelo's constitution and defensive responsibility, it wasn't an especially dangerous one overall (or much of a gruelling one) until the very latest assignment. The fights were mostly "tough" in the sense of being cagey tactical battles that might be tough to win. That being said, while we don't associate Mayweather with trauma-inducing power, it's reasonable to observe that being hit in the head repeatedly is never good, and Mayweather was able to land quite plentifully on Canelo. Still, Canelo will have incurred minimal mileage at most from the experience. Of the hard-punching, aggressive opponents with the realistic potential to exact significant damage on Canelo; Kirkland was still good enough to get in range and let his hands go, having his moments early before being taken out, and Cotto, a good puncher, was able to do some decent work in their fight, so one might argue that some more serious degree of mileage was added in those two fights, though still relatively modest. Golovkin missed a lot, but got enough jolters through to add some genuine wear and tear - we know that he doesn't need to land many to do damage, and we know that being able to absorb good hits (as Canelo can) doesn't reduce their toll. But I should clarify that I don't feel that Golovkin is shopworn, either. He's that well preserved 35 whose retention of his senses and a great amount of his physical ability will allow him to benefit from being the wisest he's ever been when entering a boxing ring. Eventually, fatal degrees of physical slippage will kick in. But as of his last outing, he's looking fine.
If Canelo's hands are okay this time and he wears his Everlast gloves instead of the Winning training gloves he might have a better shot at hurting Golovkin.
That fool is an idiot and got banned and now he's back as Tomoto(e) Can and for some reason he is allowed to keep that alt.
Because he knows if he's still standing at the final bell he csn not lose. Uncle Bob & hisMerry NSAC ers along with the Vegas mafia have assured Oscar his ass is covered
LMFAO what a bunch of excuses! But but I thought GG didn't need judges because he was going to knock el pollo out and easy? LMFAO
