I'll have to get myself a ticket for this, looks like a great card on paper, and for once it isn't in London or up north somewhere.

I'm really praying the Barker-Macklin, Cleverly-Murat, Chisora-Sexton and Brook-Jennings fights don't fall apart. Every time I look at the card I get more and more interested. This is what Warren should be doing. I doubt all 7 of his hopefuls are coming through either. Maybe about 4.

If none of the big fights fall through, this could easily be the best card of the year. I can't ****ing wait.

My cousin was at Cantebury, had a bad acid trip and did a Richie Manic....only he turned up 2 years later in a mental institution in Finland! What a journey!

Anyways, any thoughts on my list?

Yeah sorry mate, meant to get back to you. I like it overall. Forgive me if I missed him on your list though, but I didn't see Barney Ross? Do you have a range for the likes of Ketchel/Mayweather/Conn? Did any of those come into contention. (Just wondering, not picking holes mate )

As I said, overall a great effort. I know how hard top 50's can be, I've struggled to do it on many occasions. I don't think I've ever actually done a 50, I don't have a list anywhere but I usually have a good 20-25 names who make up the top of the list, then I struggle past that.

You should post this over on 606 just to see the response. :rofl

How long is the show on for anyway? Surely a couple of these fights will be getting cut from TV coverage?

I DID IT AGAIN! When I shifted round last time I took out Barney Ross when debating whether or not to rank him above Canzoneri.

Anyways, Ross should be at no10 :good

    Floyd: 70-80

Ketchel and Conn probably wouldn't make the top 100. Ketchel needs some revision I think, I really rate Conn as a light heavy ad his performance against a peak Louis is something to behold. Never seemed to get it back after the war. Shame.

As I say, the 2nd half is far from finished. It was close before, but I lost my nerve

A convincing win against Pac would be HUGE for Floyd. It would require a re-assessment of him, no doubt, but at the moment I actually feel I'm being quite generous to him. I'd rank him over say, Aaron Pryor though. Though I don't think he'd best him at 140lbs :yep
