I thought the German stereotype were more like cold bland personalities?

For arrogance, us Yanks are probably closely matched by the French and the Italians.

Carl Froch should be well supported in the UK and he prob would be more so if it wasn't for the football fans who hang off Calzaghe's balls.

Well if he fights in Germany, his match will be broadcasted by the german national television and he can draw 5/6 millions with ease.

:lol:Damn! I knew it! Froch is German after all. He pretends to be a Brit, but now I understand why he speaks German as soon as he is off the air far away from a mike.

Perhaps Mick Hennessy (his promoter) ought to get on the buzzer to the German tv execs, because Sky, Setanta and ITV weren't interested

Guys, hate to tell you, but very few people in the US know who Froch is, much less where he's from. I expect all that will change with the exposure he gets in the Taylor fight, but he is certainly one of the lesser known super middleweights in the US. He has had little exposure over here. Not saying I agree, just stating a fact. For the record, how do you pronounce his last name? I've consistently heard it two different ways. Also, I love watching Froch fight and am looking forward to the Taylor fight. Huge Taylor fan as well.

Same as "crotch" I'd say. Definitely not "FroCK" as Andre Ward did.

No kidding. Thank you. I have actually heard a lot of people in the US refer to him as FroCK. Let's hope the folks at Showtime get it right next weekend. Do you like his chances against Taylor?

He actually said it "right" once, then wrong for the rest of the interview.

Honestly, I think it was classy of him to be talking that fight up. He obviously respects both of them. Really, I blame Showtime more for not prepping im better.
