Froch is such a negative person who’s no natural aptitude for the sport. His only retort to getting comprehensively out-boxed by a guy who’s light-years ahead of him both technically and athletically is to resort to the level of a child and call the guy boring; pitiful! “It’s not a mans way to win”, has always been the mantra of clumsy, arthritically slow, technically inept, tough-guy fighters who can’t box ****. It’s an attempt to claim moral high ground in the interests of the fans and the sport, at least that’s what it says on the tin. In reality it’s a purely defensive mechanism, the trumpeting of a cruder, more agricultural manner of fighting, on the grounds that that is all that one is capable of; except against punch bags with arms like AA.

And if he wins will he proclaim himself World Champion? What the hell’s that all about? That’s not a “mans way” of becoming world champion. A “mans way” would involve overcoming the universally recognized champion in the division. A “mans way” would involve settling for nothing less than absolute supremacy at 168. A “mans way” does not involve a bitter capitulation to those sobering thoughts which whisper relentlessly at the dead of night and tell unhappy tales of Ward's total mastery of his own person and how such mastery would be repeated time after time in any subsequent return bouts.

May 27th : “Bute didn’t fight me like a man.” No, he just boxed your head off.

you can win in football (soccer) by defending most of the time and getting a 1-0 win from a corner/freekick. no matter how many wins in a row or who that team beats, it's still boring for me. that's how i see ward. yeah, he's very skilled and all but just not that entertaining. i think he should take just a bit more risk in the ring. try going for a kd/ko. might gain a few more fans...

Yeah so boring watching a fighter who is barely in his late twenties, completely dismantle several veteran champions, and winning the super six, literally one handed. :rofl

It's fine to be a fan of Ward. He is the best one around. But it is tedious that his fans dispute he fought dirty when he picked up his first belt, because he obviously did.
