    If Mcguigan can get in....

    But seriously, i'd say yes.

He's almost there, if his last 3 fights he does Cloud, beats Kessler in a rematch, Beats Bute in that rematch, then he's a lock for me.

As it stands he could probably get in already.

    Yes.

His profile is high enough in America so yeah.

The Taylor win is so underrated for me.

  4. No, not unless he beats ward in a rematch

You can't have an unavenged schooling on your resume and expect to be remembered as a HOF fighter.

    And I like Froch

I agree with this but dont think its enough to keep him out. I think the taylor and bute wins are enough.

The HOF is not based on science, it's based on popularity.

Froch could make it based on what he's done now, he might not. It's not actually based on achievements.

You mean 'all time great fighter'.

There are many in the HOF with far worse and embarrassing moments than that.

But if John Conteh isn't in there Froch can go swivel.

Personally I don't think he is but he could well do as said before there isn't an objective checklist for entry.

His run in these days and times has been great but he did lose 2-3 of those (depending on how you see the Kessler and Dirrell fights). Andre Ward has had an almost equal run IMO the slightly lower quality/variety being balanced by the fact he won all of them very convincingly. Personally I think the Pascal win is Frochs most underrated fight.

Mcguigan being there was the first post I ever made in ESB. Everyone was against it but I had to point out that the 'fame' part in HOF was rather important and arguing about who was deserving or not was fairly redundant.

Good point it isn't Hall of Greatness it is about fame and Froch might get in there for his throwback attitude.

    Is your location from Darkplace?

I think he's got a bit to go yet, but it's possible.

On ability he isn't there, but his achievements are comparable with pretty much anyone (with a few exceptions) in the past decade.

Not many fighters have fought eight world level opponents in their entire careers.... he's done them one after the other. Obviously the S6 dictated that, but he still got in there, and is 6-2 in those contests.

The Ward defeat looks bad, but at least he's never been wasted inside the distance unlike many others.

I think he would need to beat Kessler in a rematch to get in but i could still see him get in..
