He deserves to end up on a high note. Even though the GGG fight would be the one I'd like, the fight he has the more chances of winning is the Chavez fight IMO. DeGale, stylewise, is a risk for Froch and he shouldn't risk to lose against a guy that will only make a name of his back. When you look at that, Golovkin is a HUGE risk and and could secure your legacy for good. And depending on the weight, there will always be some loud mouth to dismiss that victory IF he can get past through GGG. This is why, when you look at this, that you have to admit that Hopkins has some HUGE balls for taking the Kovalev challenge!!! RESPECT!!!

After he puts his big fat L down in the ashtray, I'd like Junior to tell us how much he's being offered for Froch fight + contract extension compared to the $12M he turned down for Golovkin fight + contract extension. Fukkin riddle me that.

Carl must have the voting system rigged, as almost all boxing fans would love to see Froch-vs-GGG over any of the other suggestions.

Personally, I believe that GGG is a terrible match-up for "Past prime" Froch (GGG would surely adopt the same "educated pressure" style Groves did so effectively in Froch-vs-Groves I. But Golovkin is a harder punching more talented version of Saint George) especially when one considers Carl's cavalier attitude to defense (particularly holding that damn left of his so low)...

That said, it would be intriguing to see GGG at 168 (there appears to be little in the way of genuine competition for him at 160) and if a Ward-vs-GGG superfight is to be considered by team GGG, why not take a fight with an ageing (though still very much respected) champion like The Cobra?

Who knows, maybe the old warrior can ask a serious question of GGG? Sometimes you watch Golovkin and the more you see, the less you know.

It is all fantasy..Froch-vs-GGG will never happen, and it will probably be Chavez Jnr or Degale (my guess is Chavez Jnr).

Chavez makes most business sense and I think any promoter/adviser would advise that fight, but from a fans point of view, has to be GGG.

I hope he fights GGG, to shut up all the GGG fanatics. I like GGG but I don't think he beats Froch.
Froch is not scared of him, Froch is scared of no man.

But for the most money Chavez it would be an entertaining fight, I couldn't care less about Degale.

Chavez barley got past Vera, most say he lost first fight. Battered by Martinez.
Froch shouldnt waste his time on that douche bag until he puts up a decent win....when was the last time that happened??

I don't know, Andy Lee? Seems like a long, long time ago.

Apparently so. I have an aversion to social media but signed up to facebook so I could vote. Now I have about 80 'friends' that I've been deliberately avoiding for years.:patsch

Wait.. not the same Andy Lee that was recently being derided as a Golovkin opponent?

Nah.. I can understand Froch right now chasing Jr as the richer fight, and TBH he hasn't much need to care about legacy, but if there is a potential FOTY for fans it has to be Froch - Golovkin.

EDIT - well, there's Hopkins - Kovalev, but I tend to see that ending in either a relatively early stoppage or a dirty drawn out SOB of a fight rather than the utter war that Froch - GGG should be.

If they could make Rios-Garcia it would probably end up as a FOTY candidate too. :think

I think Golovkin will have to beat down a SMW gatekeeper before scoring a fight with Froch or Ward... 2015+.
