I agree! Carl didn't hide and he did take on a worthy challenger. But Carl isn't a highly skilled boxer. He's a togh as nails and determined fighter. He was able to beat a boxer like JT by staying calm, composed and stuck with his game plan. Some are saying Carl is a better boxer than JT which is pure comedy!

Some are saying Carl hasn't got any skills which is equally laughable. What is real is that Carl is a basic fighter with extraordinary qualities. He doesn't have championship level skills or technique. But he has an abundance of heart, will and determination. He will never be great but he will be a good champion.

Off topic and also not that constructive? What would have happened if Carl Froch met Roy Jones in 1998?

There's a good chance we see AA vs. Froch 2010 or 11. That would be a battle...

I am American, and I know that on this and other forums, if a Brit / foreignor beats a USA guy, alot of threads will be comparring them to the past USA top fighters...it's purposely done to knock the foreign ( non USA champ ). A perfect example was just comparring Froch to Hearns, and as I said...Ask Barkley who wins and you may be surtprised to hear what he has to say...also trying to be-little Froch by comparring him to past greats such as Hearns, causes what the haters call " nutthugging " the haters always cast the first stone, then cry about nuthugging, which they themselves create...

    Kesser KO10 Froch
Pavlik KO8 Froch (Kelly is more agressive than Mikkel.)
    Andrade/Froch; 50/50

However, Froch did do what he needed to do. A lot of fighters might have given up and accepted the loss after that kind of boxing lesson. Froch did not. He came roaring back and got the win. but I ain't takin' the **** quite yet.

Froch is not a wonder of a boxer to watch, - but he has a heart of a lion. I'm a kessler fan, but I really like the 2 last fights watching Froch.

I really hope Froch continues do move forward, trying to collect all the belts (just like kessler did). We need more big fights. No stay at home boys, we only need 1 SMW champ. Hope Kessler and Froch will clash it out.... Hopefully with 2 belts each.

And then let the best warrior win....................

The WBC is not the best association in the boxing world. It's pretty corrupt in fact. Froch is not the number one SMW. Deal with it. He's the WBC champion and until he faces other champions, you can't call him the best one. Not yet. Not the way he won. He wasn't able to land combos as usual? Get used to it. He's facing the top level now. His combos will never go out like before. He won't have as many ko's. And his supposedly iron chin will be softer just because he faces better boxers. It happens to every boxer when they step up, it's not a shame. We will know what is his limit in the future. We don't know yet. He's undefeated and managed to win all his fights. So he's not crap, thta's for sure. He has great qualities but will they be sufficient to be number one? I don't think so. That's my opinion but that doesn't mean I don't respect him.

Pretty exciting for at least 2 rounds on a 12 rounds fight, claim to fame, knock a 160lbs and get a vacant belt against Jean Pascal, WOW, pretty impressed here...:nut
