    yeah,

what does he offer to Bute??? he has no belt, and isnt an easy fight. Bute has nothing to gain in fighting such a dangerous opponent.

I don't think Froch is all that dangerous for Bute.

I think Froch tensed up early, he was making a face pretty early which concerned me. TBH once second round was done i thought 'might as well go bed it's over, everything Carl's been told over years to stop and hasn't is being exposed'. Ward boxed good, i think he can actually box better but he did what he had to do.

Froch will always be my boy, he tried but i think maybe Rob didn't let him off the leash early enough. I think Froch tried to box to much last night but then again even if he pressed he'd of struggled.

I think the way ward boxed last night nothing there was nothing Carl could have done about it and that's just the way it is. Wards style is just all wrong and he's just that bit better. Totally disagree that bute will avoid froch now though. After watchin from ringside last night you don't need to be no genius to figure out which guy bute would rather avoid for now! I'd say he's licking his chops at the thought of getting in there with Carl be it in Nottingham or Quebec

He was always going to get beat but Froch mentioned in an interview that he had a cold (10 days before the fight), he was sniffling in the final press meeting and in his post fight interview. Wouldnt surprise me if he wasnt feeling his best.

That's the thing, Mand. Ward is the type of guy the harder you try early on the more opportunities you present, the better answers he'll have for you.

I don't think there's anything else Carl could've done. He just had too many flaws to beat someone like Ward.

Froch has to be praised. He's had a heck of a schedule. Eddie Hearn said Ward is the type of opponent they would've never fought if it wasn't for the super six, so this tourney deserves a lot of respect and credit too. For giving us fights we would've never seen.

I'm stilling drooling from Ward's performance. It turns me on Mand. (no homo). lol

Yeah i agree Slip, it was a lose, lose situation really although the mad thing is if he pushed early 2-3 rounds earlier he could of won the fight on the two judges card which is shocking thought really. He's getting **** on by usual fools on here but in cold light of day his resume is best it could of been bar obviously winning the fights he lost.
