God i hate the danish commentators.. They bashed on Abraham from the 3rd round to the final bell.. And now they are tearing Froch to pieces because of 2 bad rounds..

froch's punching is not concise or snappy, hes being outjabbed a bit by an older guy with shorter reach

Glen Johnson 2-1. Pressure and right hands, Carl does not look like he's enjoying himself in there.

Froch getting more comfortable. Ward is an another level then these guys. Hopkins of today would still probably school Froch.

    Round 4

Johnson hooks, with Froch just blocking. Jabs to the chest and stomach by Johnson. BIG 1-2 by Johnson, landing the jab but just missing the right as Froch shrinks away to one side. Froch is showing good defense but getting walked down and outfought. Froch turns sideways and lands his jab to the body. Johnson comes forward blocking. Froch is keeping his distance, landing his jab. Johnson is now ceding activity. He must step it up to preserve the round. Froch circles and jabs continuously. Double jab almost piercing the guard. Johnson muscles his way in but doesn't get punches off. Froch is throwing combos into his guard. Clinch. Lots of jab by Froch and lots of nothing in particular by Johnson except coming forward and pinning his arms to his face. Right to the body by Froch. Now one upstairs. Left hook and right hand combo by Froch, mostly blocked but thudding loudly.. Froch in control.

    10-9 Froch

    38-38

166 pounds and Johnsons age. Two factors which might be something in a few rounds. If Froch is still around in round 10 what shape do you think Johnson will be in? If he is still fresh I will give him credit. Sort of like when Hagler fought Hearns. Hagler put his all out and it was a gamble. But Marvin was arm weary after 2 rounds with Hearns. Had Hearns not been out of it himself, Marvin would have been helpless in round 5. Not saying Johnson is putting that sort of effort out against Froch.
