Froch would have ground him down.
De Gale was awkward and at his best was a good sniper with the left with some awkward shots but he liked to have things at his own pace and Froch wouldn't have allowed that.

Can you imagine what would happen when Degale decides to just sit in the ropes for a few rounds? Froch would beat the brakes off him

Anthony never beat anyone half decent unlike his brother who at least beat AA when he was still somewhat of a force.

Go and colour in your Ricky Hatton scrapbook you complete weirdo.

He was alright back in the day at 160 etc. Shame he never boxed Pavlik. Not the AA that your man crush Froch beat a couple years afterwards. He was done by then.

Froch by K. O later rounds. Even in his prime Degale tired down the stretch where Froch would have come on strong and starched him.

At the time they were talking of this fight, with Degale beating Brandon Gonzalez in style on the undercard of Froch Groves 2, I thought it would have been an interesting fight. Since then, Degale turned into one of the laziest fighters, gets out ahead early and then does f*** all the rest of the fight, old Froch UDs him on work rate alone, prime Froch annihilates him

Although Degale was tough, I'd back Froch to get him to him late.

Degale does give him plenty to think about in the first half of the fight with his speed and awkwardness but he was so prone to sitting on the ropes and taking breathers, that would spell disaster against Carl Froch.

Degale boxes his head off for 3-4 rounds. Then froch takes over and stops him in the late rounds.

Froch. Degale got ragged and laid on those ropes. Usually after a decent start.
