I see Froch as just another version of Junior Witter. Flatters to deceive and when he finally makes it onto a big stage against a top level opponent he will get beat. Not sure if Pascal is the one to beat him but it wouldn't surprise me. Taylor would have smoked him and then lit him back up for seconds!!
Froch is euro class, with world class power. But you got to admire the fact that he wants to actually fight people and for that he gets my respect.
Carl Froch is a professional super middleweight boxer who, at 31 years of age and with a grand total of 23 pro fights under his belt, is untried and untested at world level and some say hasn't really done much at European level either. Because of this people seem unsure as to whether he's capable of backing up his world class mouth. But nobody should doubt the big bad Cobra as he is surely on course to do battle for a world title before he's 40
Froch will suprise many people. Not by actually fighting a top 10 ranked opponent. But by beating them. As long as they aren't Kessler, Bute or Andrade.
He concentrated on the Commonwealth title rather than going for the Euro - now everyone knows the Commonweath strap is now about as meaningful as an interalphabetty title :deal He ought to know that the rules have changed and that guys cant win three Lonsdale belts outright like Henry Cooper did. That said - he is a stiff proposition for any top 10 SMW - but he needs to stop the delusion about becoming a household name. He is 31 and has achieved a grand total of nothing - Floyd Mayweather had become an ATG by 30
He tried getting the European bloke when Inkin ran a mile, and he wasn't having any of it. It gets a bit tedious to hear it, but he is avoided somewhat.
