Carl Froch is planning an epic trilogy of fights next year which will cement his status as a ring legend.
Froch, not content with having come through the most demanding series of challenges in the history of British boxing, is closing in on deals to take on Lucian Bute, Mikkel Kessler and Andre Ward, starting next March.

On Kessler: 'The rematch is perfect for a huge open-air crowd and a massive TV audience. I know that I can beat Mikkel next time.'

On Ward: 'But although he is awkward, he is a world class fighter. However, I didn't perform at my best against him. If I am at the peak of my game, as I was against Bute, I believe I can avenge that defeat, also.'

IMO if/when these fights happen he will destroy Bute yet again, grab a decision win over Kessler & lose again against Ward (Class of his Own)

    Your Thoughts??? :good

I think he would beat Kessler and Bute, and the fight against Ward he should look much better, he needs smart pressure

My guess is he beats Bute again, this time by late TKO in a more competitive fight, beats Kessler by close decision, but loses to Ward again (though not by as wide a margin as the first fight.)

If he loses to Bute, possible, then Kessler and Ward don't happen.
If he loses to Kessler, likely, then Ward doesn't happen.
I doubt he gets a Ward rematch regardless of what happens to be perfectly honest. Goosen sucks the TV money teat and I don't see there being much network interest in this fight. Ward beat Kessler and Froch both pretty handily so what's the point if it isn't a big money fight?

You have to love Froch's ambition and warrior mentality. I have nothing but respect for him, although he initially annoyed me.

    Predictions:
    Froch TKO Bute 9

Froch vs. Kessler is close to a toss up. Not quite 50/50 but 55/45 Froch at this point.

Ward is just on another level from Froch. Strange things happen in boxing, but him beating Ward would be one of the strangest I've seen.

Kessler's not the same fighter anymore. Froch will beat him.

But he really don't want any part of Ward.

Even Yusuf Mack is still a good fighter, let alone targetting back to back fights with Kessler and Ward! Would be great to see Froch avenge the loss to Ward, go to war with Kessler then call it day.

Can you see anyone else Ward can fight? The guy has cleaned the SMW division out. IF Froch beats Bute & Kessler you'd think there'd be clamor for Ward-Froch 2.

There is always LHW. Not a lot of money in going a second round in the SMW division.

    I can't see Ward-Dawson 2 having decent marketability this soon. Would Ward-Cloud be a bigger draw than Ward-Froch 2?
