For a middleweight, it was silly speed to cover the canvas with tiny steps. Athletically Benn was a natural freak.

 

That's me taking away from him as a boxer. He was a bully, he was one-off gifted.

It was the 'Carlos Monzon vs Chris Eubank Sr At MW' thread, several months ago, if I recall - in which @Bulldog24, called it as a Draw. I think he also rates Eubank in his top-ten All-Time Great Middleweights, with McCallum topping the tree (as I seem to recollect, but I might have that wrong).

Here, in this thread he calls a Monzon/Benn match, as a win for Benn by way of KO/TKO. Benn also beats SRR, according to this poster, who refers to him as superhuman, at times.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, of course (as long as they don't start to look akin to being the product of a cult belief system, whereby anyone else's differing opinion is drastically devalued/dismissed, at the first given opportunity).

Nothing, in the post of yours I was responding to, qualified your statement in terms of Benn's "mental strength". Indeed, it wasn't qualified in any unambiguous way.
