Who would you rank as the best fighter pfp? This is a tuff one both big time bombers with good boxing skills. Pfp zarate had the better chin.
JUST WANT TO PUT SOME INTRESTING STUFF BRO ITS NOT LIKE THESE ARE LAME MATCHUPS, IM PUTTING UP GUYS WHO I THINK ARE EVEN MATCHED PFP AND JUST WANNA HEAR WHO YOU GUYS WOULD RANK HIGHER.
Boab was pretty dominant too though. And Zarate was pummeled when he moved up as well. I'll choose....both.
He was, but I think he generally showed alot more weaknesses in his game than Zarate, when at their prime weights. Hence why I think Zarate wasmore dominant.
I don't think this is even close. Foster by miles. The light-heavy Foster was a far better fighter than Zarate ever was IMO.
Foster was the best lhw in the world for 6 years, Zarate's bantamweight supremacy did not last as long as this. The only postwar lhws I'd back to beat Foster would be Charles, Moore and Spinks. There are more than 3 bantams I think could defeat Zarate - Olivares, Jofre, Harada, Ortiz, and maybe guys like Panama Al, Canizales and Rose as well. Although neither man has a resume packed with household names, I like Foster's better overall. And although Zarate's KO ratio is nothing short of spectacular, he can't match Bob for single-shot power IMO. JMHO mate :good
I wouldn't favor even Moore or Spinks over Foster, personally. There's a chance Charles could get sparked out as well. Foster is a head to head nightmare.
That is fair enough, but I do think you are selling Zarate short. He was as equally as dominant as Foster IMO in a better division but did not dominate as long, but surely quality over quantity. He also showcases excellant skills, he is a very hard-hitting boxer-puncher and shows a brilliant offensive arsenal. He has also provn his ability to overcome adversity more often than Foster, who never really won a fight after being troubled.
I can see Moore getting caught and sparked by Foster perhaps (if Bob lands flush, he's cracking ANY chin), but I'd back Charles and Spinks to box their way home.

I'm not completly sold on Foster, his chin was shaky to say the best, and he did tend to panic when pressured. Almost like Wladimir Klitschko in the sense he needs to be keeping on top of you and dominating you, or he really is in touble. I think Moore could get in underneath Foster and take him out early.
