Carnera and Vitali compared

    that's so dum! vitali is very hard to hit..carnera when he got hit he got hit hard!!!!!!!

    FFS Wlad looks more like a 250lb Joe Louis than a Carnera. Vitali yes but he is still a load better than both. And I'm not a Klit fan

    I got V.K. at # 6 in my top-10 list of ATG mothers at heavy from 1887 to 2009........ I sleep very well and soundly at night, too.........

    I should think Attell would be assimilated easily into Carnera's coterie, as he was in several fixed fights ,carried numerous opponents for betting purposes,and along with Wilson Mizner ,[Ketchel's one time manager,]and Arnold Rothstein ,fixed the World Series.

    The obvious difference is in power Vitali does not possess that one punch dynamite that Carnera exhibited against Sharkey.

    There is no comparison other than size, and even on that one they are built differently.

    Carnera was easier to hit, could take flush shots to the chin well, and lacked a comanding jab and follow up right hand.

    Vitali hit harder, had better defense, was more active, smarter, etc...
