No, you don't decide who is the king. Casamayor still has the right to call himself Champ. Juan is probably the best, but that doesn't give him the Champion status.

Not after last night. Juan Diaz is the Lightweight Champion, same way Chad Dawson is the Light Heavyweight Champion...

Are you sure that Casamayor is the ring champ? They were definatly holding up the ring belt behind Diaz last night.

No Bias, Casamayor is the man. He beat corrales and tried to unify against Freitas, Freitas stunted and fought Diaz and the WBC stripped casa to give Morales the shot.

    Linear Champion is Joel Casamayor.

    I saw that too

    but Casamayor is still champion,

and under there rules he cant be knocked off unless he moves to another division, loses, or retires.

That is really strange. I didn't remember an announcement of Diaz as ring champ but seeing the belt I thought he was.

This ratnigs are old. They still have Julio down as having 3 losses, and after last night, he has 4. I don't know if they are gonna make Juan the champion, but he deserves it.

Just a joke. He was linear when he moved up in weight. After which Castillo separated himself from the pack and established himself as "the man". Then he got beat by Corrales, then he KO'd Corrales (but was overweight). Corrales, himself overweight, was "beaten" by Casamayor. Anywho, Casamayor may have a claim - based mostly on issues at the scale- that he is the linear/Ring champ at 135, but Juan Diaz is clearly the man in that division.
