Ticket sales are horrendous and nobody outside of the hardcore will know it’s happening. Catterall should win a dull points decision as Prograis is shot to bits. His last 2 have been losing every round to Haney and a poor fight against Zorilla that he probably should have lost.
Looking forward to this fight, good undercard too, with the Hatton rematch, but as others have said one that has flown completely under the radar. Regis is one of my favorite fights and did incredibly well to rebuild his career after literally being cast aside by promoters after the Taylor fight, but I feel Haney laid the blueprint for how to beat him. If Catterall can control the distance and not get drawn into an inside fight, he should win this quite comfortably. I recall Teddy Atlas laying it out before the Haney fight about Prograis not having the greatest footwork when made to come forward and I think the same applies here as Catterall is very effective at what he does in the ring.
I actually give Prograis a decent chance in this fight....mainly due to Catterall not being very good. 12 months ago I reckon Haney shuts out Catterall also. If Prograis has anything left he could well stop Catterall.
I think main event is cracking but nobody cared about dazn cards if we’re being honest. Hearn blames the fighter but the platform doesn’t catch anybody imagination!
Great respect for Ricky Hatton who chased fights with 2 ATG fighters Money and Pac but lost badly in the end. There is no failure in trying to beat the greats IMO and he should be commended. Charlatan Campbell Soup Hattton (AKA Hurricane) no more than a watery fart is seriously tarnishing brand Hatton.
Ricky tarnished his own brand by getting chinned by some average joe in the reef and crying about his depression every 2 minutes. He's another weakminded athlete like Gazza.
100 % agree And, unless he's significantly improved under Davison, has given Conor a call, or is a beneficiary of some Matchroom cooking he will likely be getting exposed once again on Saturday night.
Thoroughly agreed. If prograis is still half decent he should win fairly easily. Jack is decent, but I think he’s taken far to much credit for going life and death with the bones of Josh Taylor.
