This fight is a couple of weeks away and no one seems to care. I think this will be a very exciting fight. It's a good contrast of styles. Maidana is bull. He keeps coming foward and has a terrific right hand. Cayo is a very unorthodox fighter. He punches from all angles, has good lateral movement, and good speed. However, he keeps his hands real low and likes to avoid punches by leaning his head back. Both habits could find him unconcious against Maidana. So does this play out? Does outbox and frustrate Maidana, or does Maidana overpower and breakdown Cayo?

I guess nobody really does care about this fight. I think it's going to be a war. It will be much better than Dirrell vs. Abraham.

Maidana gets a bit overrated because of how excited people were over Ortiz at the time (who himself really had only one good win in Arnaoutis).

Cayo's a tough out, I'm going to say he's at least as frustrating to fight for a straight-forward type as Kotelnik.

    My gut says upset.

If Cayo were more battle tested, I would definately pick him. I'm just not sure how he'll react under pressure. Considering how low he keeps his hands and considering how he pulls his head straight back to avoid punches, there's a good chance that a swarming power puncher like Maidana will eventually catch him and put him down.

I'm liking Cayo on points here. His movement and speed will give Maidana serious problems. He won't be stupid enough to slug it out with Marcos.

I have Cayo by decision I've already talked about this fight

remember Bredis Presscot vs miguel Vasquez? That's what I'm expecting in this fight.

Cayo is awkward as hell ... he might be able to sneak out a win ...

With Cunningham-Godfrey falling through, this definitely moves into the spot of #2 most exciting fight this weekend behind Dirrell vs. Abraham..
