Heh don't worry mate, i was talking abit of **** in the main forum. Great win by Dawson, he's not getting any credit because Tarver is old now apparently despite the fact that he was throwing punches non stop for twelve rounds. That was as good as Tarver gets, he was just beaten by the better boxer, as Mayweather said p4p :yep I think Dawson improved his defence alot for this fight, he covered up well and slipped shots, i don't think i've ever seen him move his head that much before, it was a great performance. One thing i've always thought about Tarver is that he has a weak core, he gets bent over alot when he blocks shots, he looks gangly and fragile because of it and i think it might be why he gasses out sometimes in fights. Dawsons left looked much improved aswell, he's starting to become a complete fighter, future p4p king no doubt :good
Shame I missed the fights today, I was really looking forward to seeing this fight and to see how Vitali went. From what I've read, Dawson seems to have impressed. I'd like him to fight Dicou or whatever his name is now, only to shut his fans up.
Vitali's fight should still be on the Tube pecks. He didnt give Peter a chance but I dont think either looked very impressive.
aussie forum pole was right for once, well done tippers. i hope tarver retires now, he is too old now, hope he made his money and can live a long happy life outside of boxing.
I entertained the idea that the lay off would be to much for Vitali. But even with that if he was 20% of what he was I didnt think it would be a hard fight for him. I actually copped some flak of some people when Vitali was last champ and I said Peter, who was unbeaten at the time, would get badly exposed.
Glad to see Dawson get up here and pissed that I missed the fight. I cringe when watching him as I always feel he could go down at any point. Did he take any punishment by chance? Not much around 175 for him, bit to young and hungry for Joe or Roy. I hope he steps down.
I remember the hype about Peter back when he was undefeated. He was meant to be the saviour of the heavyweight division. So anyway, does Vitali have any plans to stick around and defend his belt, ect, or was this a one time comeback?
Yeah, only injuries could knock him over imo. A fight with his brother would be massive for the HW division, but it'll never happen.
Funny you say that, my mail is for a recent flight he brought over 17 women and out them up in a Penthouse suites!
And a stroll it was , Tarver should fighting @ cruiser if he is going to continue , he lacked pop at L/Heavy but stay away from the top lads , if he needs to fight for bucks then i see him going on there for a couple of years earning decent money as a trial horse . I like Chad's preformance much better than last time out v Glenn , however he should rematch Johnson just to remove the question marks surrounding their first bout .
