Chad Dawson struggled against Johnson

Bute deserved to win......the KO could have been called but it wasn't and up to that point Bute was dominating so with that.....Bute is clearly the better boxer and Andrade is a tough fighter who lacks fundementals in boxing. He's got a warroirs heart though.

For whatever reason Johnson was good at MW, couldn't win at SMW, then was good again at LHW again. Johnson W-L record at SMW was subpar. If Calzaghe would of fought Johnson at the time people would be pissed as **** for Calzaghe fighting a guy losing so many fights.

Johnson lost these fights at 168.

i agree i thought glen won landed the more meaningful blows and took a lot of dawsons shots on the gloves and arms...glen didnt have a mark on him afterwards

 

Bute deserved to win, sure, but he didn't clearly show he was better by any means. It doesn't matter whether he outboxed Andrade for 11 rounds or not, if he was almost stopped in the dieing seconds. There needs to be a rematch to show us all who is the better fighter. If Andrade stops him in the rematch late on, after getting outboxed, Andrade would be the better fighter.

 

chad dawson won 8 rounds vs glen...i was at the bell centre the night bute got knocked out by andrade...or as you french say...centre bell

 

2 months ago a lot of people would have said the same about pavlik. Calzaghe's ducking him running scared etc.

Dawson is a consensus to 3 LHW. His last two wins were against guys who destroyed a younger, better version of the Roy Jones that Calzaghe just beat. If you don't think Dawson is worthy enough to fight Joe, then you obviously must believe that Cazlaghe should fight Hopkinsa again or retire.

 

I don't know about that Thunder, I gave Dawson 7 rounds. I gave Johnson the 11th round despite Dawson winning most of the round before getting stunned near the end of the round. That round could've arguably gone to Dawson. Giving 7 or 8 rounds to Dawson is fair.

 

You asked how Mayweather would've done with hand problems like Calzaghe. He's been dealing with bad hands since the beginning of his career. Despite this he's still remained undefeated, and he's still been able to record legit stoppages over multiple divisons despite being the smaller man most of the time.
