I saw very little urgency from Dawson tonight.

He was clearly losing by a lot after the first half of the fight but didnt turn it on until the 11th.

I dont see much different in a rematch.

Pascal proved he has no countering ability. He would simply suck up some wind and flurry with most punches getting blocked. When Chad threw he covered up and when he got fierce in the 11th, it was Pascal who wanted none of Chad's power.

Hit a nerve, at least my guy brushed that early KO off 3 fights later a world champion.

These U.S fighters all hype when you stand up to them they fold.

You don't know that because it didn't happen. Chad had many times in this fight to pull the trigger but didn't. I'm a fan of his and have followed his career and I've notice that he just doesn't have that killer instinct he needs. He needs to learn to correct this or other opponents will capitalize on that too.

Of course he would, Pascal wasn't impressive tonight as a fighter. Chad let him play his game for ten rounds so Dawson didn't deserve to win.

Unless you have magical powers that let you step into an alternate universe to take a peek, there is no way of knowing that Pascal wouldn't have rebounded or Dawson wouldn't have gassed even worse than him in the 12th.

The rematch will probably resemble the first a great deal - with Pascal doing enough to win more rounds and both taking turns hurting the other as their tanks are emptied.

Damn, Dawson should of taken Pascal out much earlier, but I'm guessing he had an off night in the worst possible place and then as he was about to lay out Pascal he went throught the worst possible scenerio with the cut. He didn't keep his promise in about proving he was going to show his killer instinct tonight, but I think he underestimated Pascal. I give credit to Pascal I mentioned before the fight if Pascal fought a fight away from Dawon's left hand and outworked him instead of trying to knock him out he could pull an upset. He fought brilliantly, but if a rematch does happen, I think if Dawson starts alittle faster and fights more aggressive, he's gonna knock canadian bacon out.

When has Dawson ever rematched someone who wasn't already shot the first time he fought them?

He certainly didn't want any part of Adamek's invitation to move up to cruiserweight, did he?

You can't say he will you don't know that. Also Dawson has been better in rematches but they both have been against old men. Would be interesting to see how he does in a rematch but one doesn't need to happen. It wasn't even a close fight really. Pascal won decisively.
