Following the news that Chael Sonnen failed his post fight drugs test, he is due to appear on MMA Live on Thursday. Should be pretty interesting viewing. I know that it broadcasts at 22:00, Thursday on ESPN in the UK, but unsure about when it shows in the States.
Should be interesting to hear what he has to say since he told the commission during the pre-fight screening that he was taking testosterone. Very odd thing to do. I suspect we'll hear about how he was prescribed it by a doctor. He'll still get suspended but he might be able to get it down to six months. One thing we almost certainly won't hear from Sonnen is "I was taking testosterone leading up to the fight in order to get in better shape and be stronger. I was knowingly breaking the rules to get an advantage". Even if it's true, almost no one ever says that!
whats this about it being some hispanic guy who tested and not him. theres also word that sonnen is making excuses about medicine or some ****.
