Been saying that the whole time. The disrespect to Crocop, the Nogs, their brand of Jiu Jitsu, to Brazil in general pissed me off to no end. Still, finding out he lost while on test sweetens Silva's win imo. Well, that on top of the fact that he was subbed by Noguera BJJ.. Now we just need a Crocop pupil to kick his teeth out. Crocop still deserves a hunk of roided out, pimply Sonnen flesh next..
We'll see what the UFC does about Sonnen's test. Seems like Sherk was allowed to come back down the road a little. As for the Silva/Sonnen video, people are blowing it up a bit because they're pissed at Sonnen right now. Put those two in the cage and see if Sonnen is "scared" of him. There's nothing that he does better than Anderson Silva at this point, if ever. Not wanting to get in a fist fight on the way to some promotional thing and/or not giving a **** about what some guy says about how you promote fights doesn't make him "scared".
I agree, there was something basically dishonourable about Chael's brand of trash talk. In case anyone missed it, the two major things I heard Cheal say was, regarding Anderson Silva bowing. "... Silva is totally false, no one bows in Brazil, if you bow in Brazil, someone will hit you over the head and steal your wallet". And that a black belt from the Nogueira brothers was worth less, and that you could pick up a black belt certificate in a Christmas kracker or words to such effect. What a plonker he is.
Forget his performance over Silva now. It was a stamina, strength, tenacity based performance and PEDs are perfect for that. He ruined some great hype.
This is like shades of Fernando Vargas, even on juice Sonnen couldn't take out Silva. Now I can't wait to see how Sonnen performs when he comes back from suspension. I hope his first fight is a rematch with Silva.
