Chagaev, can he win?

I think Chagaev has to come out strong and not let Wlad lean on his shoulders and tie him up when he gets inside of Wlad's jab. If he can get some decent work done to Wlad's body and a little to the head early, then he stands a shot at stopping Wlad late.

If Chagaev tries to stand on the outside and counterpunch, then he's a dead man walking. He has to have a similar game plan as Joe Frazier did in his first fight with Ali. Stay busy with both hands, work on the inside as much as possible, and look for a late KD/KO. If he isn't busy, it's over with.

But this is why it is a great win, chagaev has a great chin, sold speed, an KO power, now he does not have wlad knock out power, but it is good enough to knock wlad down, it is not there all the time, he has to load up on them, an this is what he will look for, i see chagaev a danger all the way till the end, ,,his left is fast an he was able to reach valuev head with it countless times, each time was set up with good body work, an that is what he will focus on for most of the fight, he will have a high guard up an he will keep very low, which will make a tought fight for wlad,,,,but in the end, he fighting the Best, an will be stopped late,,,,,wlad breaks boxers wills, i see this happening around the 7th, the early the more impressed i am with wlad,

 

i always liked and thought chagaev was a samrter fighter then iggy. so if anyobdy can use his witts to beat wlad chags is the guy IMO. im goin with wlad in this fight. but expect a great proformance froms chags!

 

this is heavyweight boxing..one good clean shot can change everything..i just think wlad lands his first and last.,

 

Chagaev is in a different class than Haye. Chagaev is a totally superior fighter than Haye. Chagaev has a small chance to beat Vlad, Haye had almost zero. (Looks like Vitali will knock Haye out soon though) I believe that Vlad will win this fight, however, Teddy Atlas picked Chagaev to beat Vlad as usual, so he just jinxed Chagaev. Vlad weighed in at only 240 lbs, so he is is excellent shape, he is very light for this fight. He will not have any problem with stamina.
