There's nothing new that Chagaev can do to win this fight. What he did in the first fight was a perfectly executed fight plan . . . and I'm expecting Valuev to come in into this fight with a solution to Chagaev's puzzle. :yep If Valuev loses to Chagaev again the way it happened in the first fight . . . then Valuev and his team is as dumb as ****. Decission or T/KO I'm picking Valuev. More on decission because I'm expecting Chagaev to move . . . if he doesn't he'll get T/KOed.
I'm going for Valuev UD, possibly SD if the judges forget which German based fighter bunged them His jab was very good, and much improved against Lyakohvich. Sure The White Wolf was coming off a lay off and generally looked horrible, but Valuev "skills" still seemed improved Chagaev is quite passive, and I just see him being outworked this time. Not much chance of a stoppage either way, Chagaev has a good defence, and Valuev doesn't hit hard. Chagaev can only hit his kneecap, so his only real chance of felling the giant is breaking his leg
I think many/most think Valuev has got Chag's number, now. Valuev looked pretty hard to beat when he fought Liakhovich. Valeuv's jab is impressive. Its a long reaching, piston-like weapon that will be hard for Chag to deal with. I am picking Valuev to beat Chagaev in this rematch.
Valuev looked great for the lyakovich fight, but i think chagaev will still end up victorious even though he looked sloppy on the Skelton fight im sure he is prepared for Valuev and win the rematch and who knows hopefuly he plans to unify.

There is a lot of talk now that Chagaev is blind in one eye, and that would expalin not only he recent pulling our of fights, but his inexplicable switch to a much more catious style.
Getting past Valuev's jab and reach is hard enough, it's going to be a tough fight for Chagaev. I'm still shocked Valuev hasn't been on HBO yet.
Gets you thinking don't it, you look at some of those pics in the post above yours aswell and he looks as if he's squinting all the time and his left eye looks a lot smaller than his right eye, weird. I'm going for Chagaev UD in this one just to be different. Lol.
The big guy has an improved jab................should be a better fight than last time & I'd favor Valuev.
The first time around I thought Chageav was going to win, as well as wishing for him the first time around. However, in a years time alot has changed, Chagaev pulling out of his scheduled fight with Iggy for unknown reasons, and then his less than stellar display against Skelton, then the Valuev fight getting pushed back, I really do think something is wrong with him physically. I think Valuev will outbox him now, the jab will be in his face all night and wouldnt be surprised to a late round knockout, especially if Valuev can keep the workrate high. I am also wishing for Valuev, I think a Wlad match would be great and it's a top 3 match I want to see in the future.
The imression I got from Valuev's Liak beating was that Valuev has really improved since the Chag loss, and is looking to correct that mistake, this time. I just don't see how Chag will be able stay away from that piston like jab, which seems to be hitting on all cylinders, now.
I agree, it just seems to me that Chagaev is not all there, where in the first fight a little over a year ago he was. Valuev will win this one, and dont be surprised when you see Valuev get a late round knockout, something he should of got against the lack luster Liakhovich.
