Skelton's a hell of a lot cheaper than Rahman as well!

I still think Chagaev would make a great tune-up for Vitali, before he takes on the Peter/Maskaev winner

Y'see on paper your totally right. However, if you'd have actually seen Skelton fight Sprott, you'd know better. Skelton is much worse than TOS, Beck, and those other guys you mentioned.

He should have signed a former champ like Moorer or Rahmen.

It will be a tough one for Chagaev.

    I fear so,too!

However,I also hope that Chagaev will somehow be able to stop Skeleton.

To be fair what was Austin or the version of Brewster that Wlad fought the second time? I don't think Skelton is anything special, but Ruslan is coming off an illness and doesn't have a mandatory. I'd rather him have fought Ibragimov, but since Sultan is slated to face Wlad (good fight), I am fine with Ruslan facing Skelton until the situation with Wlad and Sultan is sorted out.

He would have demolished either. Have you seen either fight recently? I cannot believe Chagaev is getting knocked for a soft touch after fighting Ruiz, Virchis and Valuev within the last year and a half. And as soft touches go Skelton is better than someone like Rahman at this point.

    Chagaev will beat him easily.

Skelton is a Top20 heavyweight..but does he deserve a title shot?

Skelton had **** all power and can't box either. So how is he gonna beat one of the top heavies?
