Kevin Johnson is far too dangerous for Chambers.

Ruiz would be good, or Thompson.

I still think Chambers beats him, Johnson would get countered so much.

If Wlad fights Povetkin this fall then the earliest he'd fight Chambers would be early 2010. Taking a fight between now and then would be smart for Chambers. Just as long as its a safe opponent, Chambers has earned his shot and doesn't need to blow it in the meantime. An Espn level fighter on Espn would be a smart fight for Chambers.

That's great but what if the smaller Poevetkin defeats Wlad first?

A fringe contender most likely, someone around the top 50.

How about Valuev? Pick up the WBA belt in the process.
But he'd have to get the fight made in the good ol' US of A, for better judging; and maybe throw some options Don King's way just to be sure no one is interested in the outcome.

Too good. I'm confident that Thompson would beat Chambers. Chambers is now in line for a title shot. He needs a "stay busy" fight; not a legitimate challenge. Expect Chambers to fight a Julius Long type; somebody with reasonable size, but no real threat. Basically a glorified sparring session.

It's clear that the physically depreciated Valuev isn't going to fight anybody that is a threat to his title unless it comes with a massive paycheck. So, Chambers won't be the guy, unfortunately.

:good I think he needs a tough test to see where he really is. But at the same time he could loose and miss out on the pay day with Wald. Not an easy choice but I think they will keep it safe and fight the likes of Grant.

Why take a step down from the previous opponent? Chambers should fight Kevin Johnson. Granted Johnson isn't someone you take lightly, but Chambers would take Johnson very seriously.

    Jorge Arce's dancing horse.

If they can't get him, he needs to see if he can get his hand on a HW with a great jab. Otherwise if he can't, He might as well sit and wait for his title shot to come.
