    No the people who cant stay ahead of the game and become addicts are the scum.

    No1 shoves it down their throat.

    25years is too harsh.But hey im the product of a convicted manufacturer who i had 2 see do more time in jail then rapists and murderers.

    I agree Phil. Hoping against hope most likely. Battler, there's not a snowball's that they'll get the full sentence unless they've got a lot of priors (provided of course, that they are found guilty!!!!!)

    Im aware of that.But seeing the courts consider drug dealers worst then rapists and murderers i am guessing if convicted they get min 15years.Thats bare minimum.

    He'll be out on bail shortly and it will be interesting to see what he has to say. I think the promotion will still go on with a new promoter once the storm has settled. But as usual one step forward and 2 steps back.

    Unfortunetly he isnt.

    Mma in Australia(the company cage fighting championship inparticular) are really gathering some momentum.

    Getting over 2000 thousand paying customers to their events,selling plenty of merchandise and Fox coverage of late.

    Im off to the next event in Nov 7 at Luna park and so are heaps of people i have spoke to.I think oz is following the trend of the states and asia with the massive boom in popularity in MMA.

    One eyed Boxing Purists wont like it but i have seen it happening for the past 18months.

    Constant bad press towards Boxing aint helping the problem either.

    it crap out here, the fights are that poor it is not funny, there not even world class at MMA, it is so ****ed.

    I just don't understand why MMA is getting popular, it is horrible to watch LIVE and on tv there like street brawlers and rolling on the ground.

    In Australia we have fighter who are world class in boxing, it is there, MMA in OZ is so poor it is amazing how bad they are compared to the USA, I have seen one guy who was surposed to be a top Aussie MMA he was that bad at boxing he did know how to punch at all, I was amazed.
