Not watching any Martin fight after his pathetic performance against Joshua. Literally just gave up near the start of the fight.
It is strange that people in the industry, boxers and trainers that have known and worked with him, randomly speak highly of Martin and seem to rate him more than we do.
i can see martin being capable of knocking whyte out but i wouldnt bet on it thinking whyte tko after 8 or a convincing decision
We have to factor in possible wear and tear. For example, Kownacki's chin could have been weakened by the Martin fight and Helenius has the reputation of being a huge puncher. Whyte also had a very dodgy chin post-Joshua, was seriously hurt or dropped in several fights after that and got ktfo'd by Povetkin, so his chin may well be even weaker now. Even losing a close 12 round fight with Kownacki is a massive step up from barely throwing a punch against AJ, getting dropped twice and quitting in the 2nd round. Martin isn't very good and I'd make Whyte a firm favourite but Martin surely has the power and the southpaw stance to smash Whyte's chin.
