Martin is a garden variety, big man with modest skill. Joshua should win easy, and to his credit Joshua doesn't even think Martin is his toughest opponent to date.

    Tucker wins easy.

Too early to tell how good/bad martin is.

He will have to KO Joshua in order for us to even consider this match up to be competitive

Too early to tell. Any fighter with a decent skill level, stamina, and work rate is capable of outworking Tucker. I think Wilder would do it.

I think Wilder is fighting top 15-40 ranked guys, and getting exposed in victory.

Wilder throws a lot of punches and can do it for 12 rounds. It's stylistic cancer for Tucker.

From what little we did see he appears to be an athletic fighter with good fundamentals. But being an unknown fighter prior to the title fight he has a lot to prove before judgement IMHO.

It works both ways, Tucker was a boxer mover and had the size and skillset to go with it.

Wilder has never fought anyone like Tucker. Only punchbags like Stiverne, Molina and Duhupas.

Malik Scott is almost the same, minus the chin.

The point is Tucker fought lazy. The fight would resemble Paul Williams against Winky Wright. You could argue that Wright was a better fighter than Williams, but he never would stand a chance due to styles.

Tucker didn't fight lazy, he fought cautiously as one should when facing a puncher like Tyson.

Tucker and Winky Wright have nothing in common.

Tucker was a boxer mover, Wright a defensive tactician?

And anyway, using the Williams Wright fight as an example seems strange because Wright came out of retirement to fight Williams and then went back into retirement straight after.

It's a stretch to call Tucker a mover. He was on the stationary side, much more than guys like Biggs and Tubbs. I call him lazy because he was. In every fight I've seen of him, not just against Tyson, he either did just enough to win or lost, usually leaving me thinking he could've done more.

Add to that Tony could've had a potential matchup with Marvis Frazier at the 1979 National Golden Gloves tourney, which he entered as a heavyweight. Also beat James Tillis in the 1978 National AAU light heavyweight tourney.

Yeah, for sure, it is clear now that Martin is sh!t.
    Tucker would have battered him.

Eddie Richardson probably would have beat Martin.
