I just thought that Leonard made a point of not playing into his hands, and that speed clearly worked for him very nicely.

And yeah that's what i meant about the 99% thing.

Well you could say that Duran and Leonard both waged war on the inside and the slower guy won. Only in a light though, as you could say Leonard tried to box around the ring on his tiptoes and wasn't allowed to.

    there are exceptions surely

no Duran maximised his strenghts and took leonards weaknesses. This wasnt a similar fight Duran out smarted Leonard

In my opinion at points of the fight they did have similar ideas, like when they were standing on the outside, both wanted to get off first, the slower man did, then when once on the inside, the slower man was better also.

Just my opinion, that's how i saw it personally.

and Duran wasnt much slower in terms of overall speed

I know, he was slower though, his speed is underrated i'm glad you know that. Duran defo the boss in there, but at the same time at points they were defo attempting the same stuff, with Duran doing better.

Duran won that fight by controlling it and taking away leonards speed IMO they did similar things but Duran was 1 step ahead and getting off first

You know that there's going to be a large amount of people on here that think they fought the same fight and the slower man won on just eing better, don't you? That's what a lot of people think. While i agree to you to an extent, my statements in the above posts i made stand. I respect you got a different opinion.

BUT I THINK YOU'RE JUST BEING ARGUMENTATIVE NOW!!!!!! (kidding)

i can see where your coming from and the slower fighter did win when both fighters fought ssimilarly. I think he just was one step ahead and Leonard was almost watching him then copying.

    typical scouse wanting a confrontation

Haha, yeah Duran was the boss, and when he dragged him into a brawl he was just better despite being slower. That's all i meant.

I know yeah, the classic's becoming mad with it. I said the other day we shouldn't mention Duran or Whitaker for a month, but i got outright ignored. Start a campaign if you like.

You're a Guru as well, it says above your avatar.
