People have fought through eye socket damages, look at Shannon Briggs against Vitali or how about Malinaggi against Cotto. They are warriors, I’m not saying Kell isn’t tough but I ain’t giving him the title of warriors when guys like Briggs and Malinagi did more when they were.
Go check out Malinaggi vs Cotto or Briggs vs Vitali. Those guys are true warriors, kell ain’t a coward but he ain’t got the pain threshold that they displayed.
I think you are too harsh, Brook doesn't fold at the first sign of adversity. Golovkin and Spence were just too good, that's all, but he's still a class operator. Nevertheless I also feel that Charlo is a tough fight stylistically, basically because Charlo will have to try to break Brook physically again. Brook would be better off targeting someone with less physicailty in his style. Unless the money is really good Brook should go another route for now.
agree both times he lost he was put in with someone who was as big or bigger than him. he likes feasting on those who he has a size advantage over. put that together with a couple of fragile eye sockets and you have a disaster waiting to happen at 154. brook fans on here think brook could beat canelo too haha...NO
Bones moving, eye dropping, internal tears.I read up on his injury after thinking it might have been exaggerated but no, terrible injury. I expect it to raise its ugly head again if he’s in a fight taking shots regular.
If Brook's eyes hold up then he dominates the 154 division, nobody comes close. Different level to anything out there.
Porter wasn't close at all. It was a clinic. His other two step ups. He went up two weights to fight the hardest p4p puncher (or one of them) and most avoided fighter on the planet. And was winning until his eyesight went. Spencer. Again he was dominating the fight until the unlucky break. Charlo wouldn't get past the 6th round. That's being generous.
Malinaggi fought through with one, would you agree he showed a bigger set of balls there. Let me clarify I don’t think Brook is a coward or has no heart, he is a very tough man to get into that ring against world class fighters. However the truth is he quit in a fight for his title in front of his home fans, he did what he had to do but I promise you one thing if you quit twice you will quit again and that’s what I think Jermell will be banking on.
See it’s silly statements like this which make me laugh and have to expose the truth about Brook and his career. He never dominated Spence or Porter how is he gunna dominate other top fighters?
No in the skills department it doesnt, but in the heart department of course it does. If there is something you quit at and someone goes through similar circumstances but doesn’t quit wouldn’t you agree they can handle something you couldn’t?
Loool a clinic doesn’t involve grabbing hold the moment you get on the inside, did you watch that fight? He was up on the scorecard but no chance was he winning that fight he was gunna get sparked and they threw in the towel. I doubt he would made it out of that round, he was getting beaten from pillar to post that round. Your silly if you think he was dominating, he had taken a knee the round before, he was getting beaten up once again and he quit. Spence was up on the scorecards too, he was on his way to stopping brook before the stoppage.
