    It is rather comical to imagine a fighter expecting to be praised after beating a crippled opponent. Did he really say: "What about me?" :risas3:

    I didn't accuse you of saying that. I clearly said that Trout said it in his post- fight interview. Obviously you didn't see the post-fight interview.

    Ordinarily yes but from the get go he could see his opponent was on one leg so there was zero pressure,box clever don't let him swing and it's a done deal,I rate him highly but I'm sorry if he looked like Floyd I wouldn't pay any heed cause of the situation

    Obviously not everyone lacing on the gloves is of a sound mind. Getting bludgeoned on the head repeatedly will likely further exacerbate such a problem.

    Naw, what you are trying to do is inject what Trout said as proof that what I said has no merit. What I said is my personal opinion and your attempt has no relevance in that sense. Here's something else you should take into account, fighters say one thing post fight and then speak their true feelings well after.

    The pressure wasn't from the fighter because from the beginning, with or without the injury, the results would have been the same. He just wasn't the caliber of fighter to beat Charlo. Watching his past fights would attest to that. All I wanted to see and did see was Charlo's poise, execution, ring generalship, and his power in a that would springboard him to a possible title shot. He knew that and he had thousands of people watching him state his case and declare his space at the top. That's the pressure I'm talking about.

    Yep, straight from the horse's mouth as the saying goes. Please note that you are striving to prove that Canelo's win has no merit and offering mere personal opinion as proof. All I am doing is offering evidence to the contrary. If indeed you have legitimate counterevidence as proof that Trout changed his mind, then please present it. Until then your statements must remain mere personal opinion due to lack of evidence as opposed to fact.

    Well I'm an agreement there,he's a breath of fresh air in the division.
    There's already vids on YouTube saying that Canelo not fighting for the WBC belt is more to do with him seeing Charlo coming from afar and Charlo represents a boxer,puncher probably along the lines of Lara but twice as dangerous,GGG at least is gonna be there but Canelo don't like these Charlos.

    I never intended for my statement to be nothing more than my personal opinion. You are the one who hijacked it and tried to turn into something else. Let me say this for the record. I think that Trout was robbed in that fight and I think that Charlo will beat the brakes off Canelo. We can agree to disagree but further conversation on that matter is fruitless.
