I'm a fan of Chavez Jr., but I feel the drug test is at least a bit suspicious. I don't really care about this particular one, as I feel he would beat Lee anyway, but against Martinez if he pulls something like this again then that will be some **** ****.
I agree with that actually, I suspect most of the top boxers do have some kind of illicit pharma in them. I mean all weight divisions, all countries, all races. Watching Sergio and Donaire win their fights it just didn't look natural to me. I think one Klitschko was barred from the Olympics are a significant amateur tournament for failing a substance test. And these 40+year old fighters still fighting at a high level, Hopkins and Tarver etc. I even suspect that one of Wladimir Klitschko's surprise upsets was more due to insulin loading backfiring on him than anything his opponent did. I'm not singling anybody out but I honestly believe the highest rated fighters in every weight division are doing some kind of chemical chicanery.
aww nice avatar man. Watched Izzy Marquez 1 and 2 the other day forgot how great their fights were. Brutal but with great technique( offensively at least)
Freddy, I think Chavez will spark Martinez, would love to see Jr take Pavlik after that if Pavlik is still around. then you have Froch and Ward lots of good fights and style wise none of them will be boring
Seems Jr has found a 'system' for getting to 160 comfortably and not losing his strength. Maybe Ariza is over rated and his replacement is just better?
I agree Ariza is over rated no doubt, But I also think it just took a little time for Jr to find a style that fits his frame. He has come along well he looks like a ****ing monster in there.
mother****ing LOL. . . JUST LOL. . But I give Jr. full credit until proven otherwise. . . that's mah boy
