Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Sergio gets the win, he's a very good fighter. I just have a feeling this is Chavez's time to shine, and in a hard fought battle he can pull it off. I might joke like Chavez will win easily, but it will be a very tough fight for him.
Dont get it - who overrates the guy.......the most on here thinks he is crap and protected, give the guy credit for taking on the best..............thats what fighters are supposed to do............
Only posters with a history of trollitis are saying that. Most Chavez fans know Martinez is a major step up and a question mark of whether Chavez can handle of a fighter of that caliber. But is this a gimme match for Sergio Martinez? Absolutely not! Chavez Jr. holds some significant physical advantages that Martinez even with his higher skillset may not be able to deal with. They'll fight and we'll get some answers! happy:bbb:bbb:bbb
how are you not banned , you sent me all those ***** pictures and gave me the adress to your apartment dude stop it ,
Chavez will get get outclassed, embarrassed and martinez will land 40+ punches a round on chavez, while chavez only lands like 10.Chavez was getting frustrated with andy lee's movement and he didn't even move his head,so i can imagine martinez really frustrating chavez with his angles.
good points. all you can go from is their faces and sergio looks every bit his age while hopkins does not. imo the fight is accurately priced. skill versus brute strength. age versus youth. anyone who is not looking forward to this fight and does not believe that it has superfight potential does not know boxing.
prime sm landed an average of 19 punches a round against a fresh out of rehab kelly pavlik. and now and older version is going to average 40+ against a prime chavez? sm is going to think twice about landing 40+ punches against chavez after a few body shots.
