So many stupid ass morons in this thread, too lazy to reply to all of them

¨hurrr Chavez lost 11 rounds, he only won the 12th, he couldn't have damaged Martinez at all durrr¨

why are so many ******s here talking as if winning a round automatically means you didn't take any damage in said round?

Chavez put a beating on Martinez in the 12th, that doesn't mean he wasn't doing any damage to Sergio throughout the fight

I guess that nasty cut Sergio was sporting on his cheek since the mid rounds came outta nowhere for you, idiots

Sergio looked like superman in the Chavez fight, one fight later he looks like utter dog ****, yet are we supposed to think the fight had nothing to do with it at all, despite the direct tickets to the hospital and the operation room Chavez gave to Sergio?

    8 stitches on his cheek
    2 stapples on his head
    broken left hand
more marks on his face than he ever had

    and most importantly
torn ligaments in his right knee

All this at 38yo, sorry guys, your man crush will never be the same again. He's ruined, he just got beaten by a handpicked nobody, all of his great assets vanished in thin air. He's done and even Stevie Wonder could see it

    Chavez Jr EVT12 Martinez

Taking another man's soul and ruining him in the process >>>>>> winning a 12 round decision.

    Deal with it Sergi-hoes :good

I was rooting for Martinez in that fight and I don't rate Chavez Jr highly, he's a B level fighter who takes advantage of the system so he can fight smaller men, a disgrace. That being said, in that 12th round Martinez took like

, that's the kind of sequences that puts a fighter away. It's not crazy to suggest that this is the reason why Martinez is not the same.

Moving down in a weight he hasn't made in like 4 years? At 38? That wouldn't be smart at all. Could even accelerate his decline.

What IS impressive though, is that being at such a size disadvantage, and being as faded as he is, at age 38, he still dominated 11 out of 12 rounds against the big, primed out Chavez.

Whats even greater is after the knockdown, with his hand busted, leg torn, and tired from schooling Chavez's big ass all night, he stood in front of Chavez after the knockdown trading with him and Jr still couldn't do **** after the knockdown

    Damn, Martinez a beast :deal

To boast about how Junior knocked down Sergio is pathetic. Junior finally managed to knock down an exhausted 37 year old man whom he outweighed by over 20 pounds after getting schooled in 11 consecutive rounds. How is this SOMETHING TO BOAST ABOUT????
Boasting about this knockdown is absurd. If an actual middleweight had knocked Martinez down it would be impressive but not with this bloated and spoiled moron. E.g. Chavez vs taylor was impressive.

You seem to forget how Martinez got up absorbed juniors shots AND RETOOK CONTROL OF THE FIGHT XD! Thus making junior look even worse. If junior had an ounce of skill like his father he would have finished sergio off.

BTW, Sergio broke his fist on juniors face xD.
