I was rooting for Martinez in that fight and I don't rate Chavez Jr highly, he's a B level fighter who takes advantage of the system so he can fight smaller men, a disgrace. That being said, in that 12th round Martinez took like This content is protected , that's the kind of sequences that puts a fighter away. It's not crazy to suggest that this is the reason why Martinez is not the same. Moving down in a weight he hasn't made in like 4 years? At 38? That wouldn't be smart at all.
