    that can be said about anybody not just chavez....
    his last name has got him this far, but his heart is what will seperate him from the others like him with famous fathers.....

    the media is trying to build this kid up into his father, but the kid just wants to fight and we can't blame him for that.....dont act like it's the attention he gets that keeps him in the ring...**** look at omar chavez, nobody even talks about the kid yet he's still grinding it out trying to make a name for himself.....those kids are fighters, the last name they were born with shouldn't be held against them, blame their promoters, but then again what would you do if you were arum...there's a reason he's a millionaire and we're here on a message board

    you cant even compare the two.. the only thing his father gave him was his last name and that's it because he has no boxing talent.. yes his father fought a lot of cab drivers but he also fought the best competition at the time and did great agaisnt them..
