Thats the thing .....when there was one champion per weight division, you could'nt get away with not fighting real contenders.
Nowdays, there are more weight divisions and multiple world champions in each division that so called champions can get away for years without fighting a real dangerous contender.

Thats just what boxing has become, but dont come in here and pretend and make it seem like its only Chavez getting preferential treatment when boxing is full of fighters holding world titles hostage.
....its the name of the game nowdays, which is why being a world champion does'nt hold the same value it once did.

when i said that is what is wrong with boxing i meant the sport in general..no chavez jr.
and of course when look you at UFC you can tell how Dana White always matches the best by division,There are no promoters avoiding or looking for easy fights.Why Gamboa vs Lopez never happened? because this ****.
