Chavez Jr PPV $$ WTF?

Some dude's record is like 24-17. I'd say his name is close to irrelevant

Actually looking it up, the guy is 22-16. I gave him too much credit.

Do you always defend mexican fighters? Anyway i'm not shock you defending Chavez Jr cause his father is your hero right? Dude there are many tv like espn, verses, fox sports, msg network that might like to headline Chavez fights. But Arum is killing this **** with forcing boxing fans pay 39.95 ( thats the regular prize of chavez bs fights i believe i might be wrong) to watch him beat a cab driver.

 

You mean ******ed Chavez fans right? It's a disgrace to have him headline a freaking ppv. Theres a reason why hbo and showtime don't want anything to do with chavez jr cause they feel he's a joke of a fighter that living off his last name. But like i said in my other post there are espn, versus, foxsports and otheres that might like to headline a chavez jr fight.

 

Ultimately if the ******ed Chavez fans are willing to pay, We can't do much about it. Arum's not going to turn down easy money.

Actually HBO was very interested in one point with Chavez Jr but the opponent couldn't be agreed upon. Coming off Alphonso Gomez' win over Gatti, there was a lot of talk about doing Gomez vs Chavez Jr on HBO but things never seemed to pan out.

I agree if Arum wanted to, he can take his fight to many other outlets. Thing is, he knows that Chavez fans can get milked and he's doing what other smart promoters would do.

I have no sympathy because if you pay for a Chavez Jr PPV, You only have yourself to blame.

i defend what i think is right...and believe me, i'd rather pay 25 FREAKIN ****EN LAME ASS DOLLARS and get 6 or 7 great figths with some more pretty well known champs or ex champs and up and comers, then have him on another network where we're gonnna get maybe 2 fights if possible....

why talk **** about chavez jr though, he aint the one asking for this...the kid simply wants to fight and will take any deal they throw at him....he could've been another lop ass camacho jr, but this kid really wants to make a name for himself, which is very respectable IMO cause the kid really dont have to fight if he didnt want to...

it's this simple, if you dont like him dont order the ppv's...the cards have actually gotten way better then the first couple of latin fury's, so i aint complaining....for instance, this weekend is pretty much a ****ed up card, but if nobody would've pulled out we would've gotten

all in one card for a couple of bucks, and not to mention about 2 or 3 other fights ....how can you call yourself a fan and not wanna shell out 25 bucks for a card like that...:huh
