Yeah, cause me being sick of someone who goes around misinforming people is such a terrible thing. You can **** off to the ignore list too with your boyfriend. I guess you don't care what sort of a tosser he is as long as he bangs your ass nice and hard. I got no time for those who repeatedly and condescendingly go around spreading misinformation. I got no time for those who try and defend that behaviour either. Bye bye ****wad.
diuretics are also used to mask PED's. I believe some football players got in trouble over the similar things last year, they took an over-the-counter weigh loss product with banned diuretic, no problem with that but the NFL ruled the substance CAN be used to mask other drugs in the body, so they were still suspended...they took it to Congress i think...what a waste of time
It is ****ed up. There has got to be a fair few people who use them without knowing that they are also used as masking agents. At the end of the day though, as a pro athlete you have an obligation to know what you are putting in your body and whether it is legal within your sport's guidelines. Cause if one truly ignorant person could avoid penalty by saying "I didn't know" then every guilty person would say the same thing. Of course, if you take the substance before your sport's ruling body has made it illegal - that's a whole other can of worms.
If it does mask other drugs, Chavez Jr. physique did'nt look any leaner or cutter than its been in the past. ......by looking at his body, he does very little weight training. Now, if Chavez Jr. would have all of a sudden looked cut when he's never looked that way before......you might have a case that he was using the diuretic for masking. ......that however just is'nt the case. The man struggled to make weight, and he took diuretic's to do so.
if he needs to use diuretics to make weight then his dedication to the sport must be seriously questioned. There was a point when Chavez Jr made the transition from 147 to 154 that he actually looked like was finally putting some muscle in his skinny frame but now he looks as soft as ever, maybe softer. IMHO Chavez Jr barely trains and spends the time partying and drinking. In the first Vanda fight he was exhausted after 6 rounds, and but lasted the 10 rounds in the rematch. I think the boy only trains enough to fight the hand picked opponents. I am in the mindset that Chavez Jr needs a reality check asap and to get working and see if maybe he can make a name of himself.
As big a Chavez fan as I was, and as much as I'm rooting for Jr. to suceed.......I'm of the same mindset that you are my friend. Chavez is making a good chunk of change the way Arum is using him in these Latin Fury PPV cards....... .......unfortunately, we may never see Jr. evolve as a fighter for this very fact........It seems he is'nt hungry to get himself in fighting shape. You're absolutely correct, the Vanda fights are a perfect example.......he got off to a good start in that 1st Vanda fight and just ran out of steam down the stretch, a reason to suggest he's not focusing on his physical training. Having tested himself in that first Vanda fight, he gauged just what type of conditioning it would take to get it done much easier in the rematch, and the result was a near shutout performance by Jr...... It just looks like to me that Jr. is putting just enough effort in his training just to get by. The bottom line is that he's slacking in his training and its showing in his soft physique and long lapses of poor workrate during fights. To to get to the next level, a fighter must up his physical conditioning and have a passion to train. Its unfortunate because early on in Jrs. career, say his first 15 or so fights......in the interviews I saw of him he looked eager to reach the next level........he was admitting he had so much to learn......but I just dont see that same fire in his eyes now for wanting to get himself in peak form and seeking to grasp the intracacies of the sweet science. I've got to say Chavez Jr. dissapointed me this past year in the effort that he gave!:?
Chavez Jr has gotten jaded with fighting tomato cans. He is still fighting C-level fighters, but he makes money with all these Latin Fury cards and because of the hype in Mexico that surrounds him. He doesnt have the passion for the sport I dont think. He is too content with his lifestyle now.
Bro, I'm not so certain he's being hyped all that much in Mexico...... For one thing, the last couple of times he fought there, he was heavily booed......in one particular fight they were even throwing beer cups at him after a decision. One thing about the fight fans in Mexico, if you give them a half ass performance, they will let you know. Fighting in mexico, they expect you to fight like a gladiator and give 100% of yourself. Arum has actually turned away from staging his fights in Mexico and is concentrating on getting him exposure here in the US where ever there is a large Latin contingency.
