Deary me you really are trying to be a dickhead. What's there not to understand in the initial post...whether i'm right or wrong it's clear to see what i meant. Now you don't agree made your points with a lack of class. Now i can't be asked arguing with you over topic i really don't care about. You can keep the word spastic. Seems you like the sound of it..
10 years and its spent, just beause he got into boxing and turned it around, doesnt mean he should get better treatment than the rest of us. Unlucky, you pay the consequences. Yeah, selling some drugs to your mates is no where near as bad as going aound beating people up
I get where your coming from but i've noticed a trend on here with regards to fighters with criminal pasts. Fighters to some shouldn't even have license back etc. Many know how this sport can be used to change lives and that's what has happened to Murray. I think people changing there lives should be rewarded but i see where U.S are coming from. They have to be stricter then other nations for obvious reasons..
This content is protected Thats what I was confused about, Im surprised Mike didnt go to town on these bad boys
Depends on the charge, if you have any drug charge even minor possession it becomes VERY VERY difficult to get a visa Agree with this I think a certain amount of reasonableness should be applied. If he had a record for raping women in hotel bars then NO or had been done for trafficking drugs then NO but he's hardly going to go get into a ruck outside the local on his way to the ring.
I think Macklin stands a chance at JCC Jr, Chavez Jr fights the way Macklin likes to fight and i think Macklin wins
The middleweight landscape is disgusting and a complete and utter disgrace. Can't wait for a fighter to come through with a meanstreak ****ing up all who step in his way.
It's one of the things I love about boxing. Obviously there are some scum balls that I don't want to see fight due to what they've done outside a ring - such as Eric Morel - but some of my favourite boxers of all time have had a criminal/convict past. Having said that, it seems the issue with Murray isn't that the US won't allow him in to fight, is it? Looked like it was more a time issue - the visa process will obviously take longer for someone with a criminal record, and it seems like Top Rank had left it a bit late in the day to 'decide' on Murray as an opponent.
I'm not convinced it was ever really a serious option on Top Rank's behalf. I could be wrong, but I doubt they were totally unaware of Murray's convictions. I'm half expecting Chavezito's next fight to be at 168lbs.
