I actually dont think thats a crazy impressive number. Its around what I would expect. Was hoping the reports of 600k were true...

it was reported to be 600k and i'm not surprised because this fight generated quite some hype. people were not questioning the 600k buys from the cotto-margarito fight even if the figure wad from arum.

    The offical numbers are

470,000. So around half a million.

That's really good for Jr's PPV debut.

Anything above 400k was a massive success.

Duddy vs Chavez was PPV. And so was his fights with Vanda and a few more too.

It is though. Floyd and Manny's numbers have raised the bar but for other fighters 250k is good. 500k? Is great.

Mayweather vs Judah did 500k and Gatti 350k. It wasn't until DLH that Floyd really started to sell.

It's honestly more than I expected it would be considering Martinez never fought on PPV and Mexicans were the only ones who thought Chavez was actually a good fighter.

You have to take in account that there was another cash cow fighting in a different channel that same night with a far better undercard. 400+ is not bad at all.
