Chavez/Martinez is a much better fight than Floyd/Manny.

    Floyd/Manny = Way overhyped

It would be a 1 sided beatdown by Floyd

    Shutout 12-0 or a 11-0

Martinez/JCC JR is a fight where both sides can make their case of their fighter winning. A much better fight for boxing.

Most knowledgable boxing fans know this. The casuals still think Floyd vs Manny would be some amazing fight when in reality, Floyd would win with one of his standard boring pot shot decisions.

Today Floyd Manny would be a mismatch 4 years ago Manny would have whipped his nuts with Floyd.

Martinez Chavez is the fight fans fight right now

Martinez/Chavez has the potential to be a FOTY winner. True boxing fans can't wait for this one, myself included. This is what the sport is all about.

Manny/Floyd would have been great in 2009. Sadly, Pacquiao would have obliterated Mayweather so it didn't happen because Mayweather has no confidence in himself.

Martinez-Chavez is a fight that we already know Martinez wins, we don't know the outcome but he'll win for sure.

But the hype that both sides bring will make it interesting.

Only ******ed *****s really think it would be a one sided drubbing by Floyd. You think that if Floyd, the best defensive fighter with the highest iQ in the game, truly believed that Pac would be an easy night, he would have put up so many ****ing roadblocks to a 70-100 million paycheck?

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

That's like Pac saying no to a Maidana fight (one in which he would brutally destroy Maidana) despite the opportunity to make 70-100 million bucks.

Are we still fighting on PAPER again?

Fantasy: Most people expected Floyd to KO Cotto in less than 6 rounds.
Reality: Cotto gave Floyd one of the toughest fights of his career winning 4 rounds.

On paper, everything looks so much better. Pac vs Floyd in reality would be a helleva fight and it'll be close. Now if only Floyd would stop asking for 70% and we'd have a fight.

What roadblocks? Drug testing is not a problem, and if it is not a problem now then it should have not been a problem back then. So if that is the case the fight would have happened 3 years ago (with 50-50 purse). I am a fan of Pacs but ****ing dumbasses like this make him look bad. I thought the fight would have been close at one time but that was the fan in me looking at the fight and I did not want to see one of my favourite fighters lose. But now in hind sight PBF would win, in 2009 it would have been a bit more interesting but it would have been Floyd winning in the end

you had Cotto winning four rounds . It seems that the farther away we get from the fight peoples scores get closers soon Cotto will be robbed.

    *****, please!

Pac agreed to let Floyd have top billing. Pac agreed to let Floyd weigh in first. Pac agreed to let Floyd enter into the ring second. Up until this point, Pac had done everything to to accommodate Floyd. Then Floyd asked for OSDT, and Pac said fine, but with a cut off - this was to limit the psychological power/advantage that Floyd had gotten up until this point. The fight was 50/50, and there was a 10 million per pound penalty (which wasn't an issue since Floyd had zero intention of fighting).

It went from 14 days to 0 days.

Then it was about the money.

How are these not roadblocks when Pac's been making concessions, and Floyd's been pushing new demands?
